Education Philosophy

Living Waters Christian Preparatory School (LWCPS) is a great place for students to learn and grow.

We believe Christian education is designed to give students a knowledge of the world and skills to function faithfully in a capacity for which they are gifted, and all to the glory of God.

Our focus on education is approached from a Biblical perspective that acknowledges the sovereignty and authority of God while honoring His dominion in every aspect of life. Biblical education centers on the combination of superior academic and godly knowledge to enable a person to become an ambassador for Christ. All humans, including children, are created in the image of God and through Christian education have unlimited potential to fulfill their God-given abilities.

We believe that a Christian School should provide a thorough academic education with high scholastic standards. We also believe that the uniqueness of the Christian School lies in the integration of the biblical perspective in all academic subjects. Christian Education empowers students with a knowledge of God and His created world.

Our biblical calling tells us that: “Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” This calling requires us to provide a rigorous academic curriculum that will prepare students for a lifetime. This strong, godly, solid foundation will enable students to be positive, productive, successful role models endowed with service to the Lord and mankind. Therefore, godly knowledge is essential for the development of wisdom and character.

Additionally, a Christian school should provide an atmosphere wherein the Christian Gospel, Christian morals, and Christian principles can be taught and practiced. To achieve this, Bible is included in the curriculum. Chapel, devotion, and prayer are also priorities within the school’s schedule.

The Christian school is in partnership with the home to provide support and assistance in shaping a Christ-like view of truth and reality. While Living Waters Christian Preparatory School is here to assist, education is the responsibility of the parent (s). These beliefs work their way into every aspect of the education offered at Living Waters Christian Preparatory School. Our desire is to help students realize their identity in Christ and prepare them for success in learning and in life.
